David August is a musician from the New York, Westchester County region. He is a music educator, arranger and composer. David has been performing, and leading the Jazz Sunday at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Rye, New York for many years. The album, Jazz Sunday Collective, is a sampling of just some of the music that David has written during his time at Trinity Presbyterian Church. On this record, he is honored to be joined by some of the greatest musicians in their fields, such as Thierry Arpino, Jay Azzolina, Larry Dutton, John Patitucci, Richard Rood and many more. These musicians coincidentally arrived as church attenders at Trinity Presbyterian Church several years ago, and that is how Jazz Sunday Collective was born.
